TEST ARABIC LANGUANGE PROFICIENCY ASSESMENT (ALPA)

Pontianak (ppb.iainptk.ac.id), from June 24-28, 2024, the Language Development Center of the State Islamic Institute of Pontianak held the Arabic Language Proficiency Assessment (ALPA) in the fifth-floor auditorium of FTIK. This event was led by Ulil Absor, S.Pd as the Head of the Committee, Ibrahim, SH as the Secretary, and assisted by five members: Mayuri, S.Pd, Agus Bandi, Agus Rizki Kurniawan, SE, Budiman, and Muhammad Huda, S.A.P.

A total of two thousand eight hundred ninety (2890) students who took part in the assessment filled the fifth-floor auditorium of FTIK, specifically room number 505 and 509. In this event, the students participated in the Arabic Language Proficiency Assessment (ALPA) which consisted of several sections including Fahmul Masmu', Fahmul Tarkib, Fahmul Maqru'.

The purpose of this activity is to improve and assess students' Arabic language skills, particularly in communication, critical thinking, writing, and preparing them for more challenging tests in the future. Additionally, the output of this activity is a certificate that students can use as one of the requirements for their paper or thesis registrations.
